- Mal Walker is a cocky, caustic and resentful Army veteran, left blinded after his last tour in Afghanistan. When his trusted guide-dog disappears after a confrontation with a gang of youths on a tough council estate, Mai is forced back into action. Encountering a succession of the estate's oddball characters, he must navigate the estate's unseen dangers to regain not only his companion, but also his humanity.
