- When Maya Greyson (Kalilah Harris / Mia Tillman) brings her boyfriend Trent (Karson Kern) home to meet her family during Christmas week things don't go quite as smoothly as planned. His arrival doesn't exactly sit well with Maya's family, especially her mom Renee (Robinne Lee). Why the resistance? Is it Trent's big personality? Is it his unpolished, working class roots? Or is it at least partly because the Greysons are a proud African American family, whereas Trent is - well - white? Maya has one week to persuade her family that this is true love, and Trent is here to stay. Will she be able to pull off this Christmas miracle?
