Synopsis:: Hakkenden Eight Dogs of the East is a Japanese animated fantasy TV series following the sole three survivors of the plague-stricken Otsuka village: Sosuke Inukawa, Hamaji and Shino Inuzuka. Once they hid in a nearby church, Shino discovers he is the host of a demon blade that contains life. The news lead to Hamaji being kidnapped while Shino and Sosuke must find a way to save her in the infamous Imperial City.
