- Synopsis:
- Hallelujah is a British comedy series about the people who work and visit a Salvation army Citadel and the many strange things that happen there on a regular basis. The series follows Captain Emily Ridley (Thora Hind) and her niece Alice Meredith (Patsy Rowlands) as they start working at a citadel in the fictional town of Brigthorpe in Yorkshire. As the two start working with the staff they must also contend with problems in their own lives as they try to run the building and keep things in check.
