Rent Hamish Macbeth (1995 - 1997)

Hamish Macbeth is a British drama series about Hamish Macbeth (Robert Carlyle), a police officer in charge of a small Scottish town where he tries to maintain law and order but not by using the law. The series follows Hamish as he attempts to maintain the status quo in the town by avoiding arresting petty criminals or doing his job too well to avoid promotion out of a town.
