Happy New Year (1973)

Just released on parole Simon (Lino Ventura) sets out to find the accomplice who helped in the plan to rob the famous jewellers Van Cleef and Arpels in Cannes. He also intends to meet up with his mistress. He recalls the events and planning which led up to the robbery and how his unlikely affair with the cultured and elegant Francoise (Françoise Fabian) developed.
