Over a hundred years after the historic feud that left a dozen dead, the backwoods descendants of the Hatfields and the McCoys continue to live in the remote and volatile hollows along the West Virginia and Kentucky border. Seeing the potential for a hot new brand, an investor has offered to set up the two families in business to make a completely authentic and legal Hatfields and McCoys Moonshine whiskey. This real-life series follows these infamous descendants as they try to put aside their hateful history and come together to build this new whisky business from the ground up. The feud between these clans became the stuff of legend, but now, in the 21st century, do the families have what it takes to put the past behind them and make a killing in the liquor business?
