Hawkwind: Love in Space (1995)

Inventors of Space Rock, Hawkwind are quite possibly the ultimate British cult band of all time. Formed in the late sixties in the hippie enclave around London's Ladbroke Grove the band really came to the fore during the early seventies and have maintained a large and faithful following to this day. Despite countless line-up changes, Hawkwind have always sustained a solid, distinctive stage presence, their live shows becoming events in their own right. Never ones to shy away from showmanship the stage shows have been augmented by incredible lighting displays, dancers and guest performances. the heavy mix of fantasy, sci-fi and psychedelia is never anything less than breathtaking.
