- Synopsis:
- Brought up on a farm in North Wales, Ellis Evans (Huw Garmon) aspires to be a poet and to win the Eisteddfod Poetry Chair. But with the rise of WW I, Evans finds himself with a more pressing dilemma - to stand firm to his pacifist beliefs and refuse to fight, or to accept the call to arms and maintain the respect of friends and family. Based on a true story.
