Britain's best loved fell walker never travelled abroad but each year for over forty years he undertook a journey north of the border to Scotland. In 1987 Alfred Wainwright invited Eric Robson to join him as he revisited many of his favourite places. During a memorable summer together they travelled from Cape Wrath in the far north on a journey that included the Isle of Skye, the Torridon mountains, Glen Coe, the Cairngarms and many other special places.
