- Synopsis:
Senapathi, a young extremist and Amiratham, a young woman who believes in Naxalite are both part of the marathon struggle for independence sharing the same goal. To see India free from the clutches of the British. When Amiratham and other women are stripped naked for burning British goods, Amiratham contemplates suicide but Senapathi stops her by assuring that he would tie the knot with her and soon after India's Independence in 1947, Senapathi weds Amiratham. Amiratham gives birth to a boy, Chandrabose and a girl, Kasturi. Years Roll By. Chandrabose leaves his house, since Senapathi refuses to pay the bribe for Chandrabose's job. Within a few months after this Kasturi receives burns in an accidental fire and dies because Senapathi does not pay the bribe. The ferocious rebel in Senapathi again comes to the fore after Kasturi's death. He kills Inspector Vao, Corporation Commissioner and warns the public that similar treatment will be meted out to the bribe takers if they demand bribes. Meanwhile, Chandrabose bribes the R.T.O. Officials and becomes a R.T.O. Inspector. One day he accepts Rs.5.000/- as bribe for issuing a false certificate to a vehicle owner, but unfortunately the vehicle meets with an accident killing 40 school children. When Senapathi comes to know about his son's involvement in the accident, Senapathi does not allow blood relation to come in the way of his mission and slays his own son, becoming a role model for the nation and proving himself a true 'Hindustani'. - Actors:
