I am yet to see a more compelling and forceful set of promotional documentaries on the west than those that make up this fascinating set of video's. Disguised as thrilling travelogues, the clips provide you with a host of reasons to want to shift to west - that is, if you are not among the fortunate ones living there already. Significantly - either by design or chance - the clips convey the message that the west is more than just a land of cowboys and Indians as suggested by the plethora of westerns that Hollywood has churned out for decades, although the rich cultural heritage of native Indians and the charming lives of cowboys are covered in some detail in the clips. The clip "America for Me" includes some outstanding footage of Midwestern and Eastern states and helps you to draw a parallel between the allurements offered by these places vis a vis those of the west. I cant think of an more charming way to explore the grandeur of the Grand Canyon, ride the range with real-life cowboys, immerse myself in the history and culture of native Indians and comprehend the immensity of nature's bounties in the west - all from the cozy comforts of my rocking chair - than through the eyes of the marvelous lens men who created the amazing footage found on this unique set of video's. Adventure buffs and armchair travelogue enthusiasts, here is one video you don't want to miss!
