Educational documentary about American deaf-blind author and political activist Helen Keller. Rendered deaf-blind by illness at a young age, it was thanks to her governess and companion Anne Sullivan that Keller went on to be the first person with her condition to earn a Bachelor of Arts degree. Not only did she proceed in becoming a successful author in her lifetime but she also contributed towards the women's suffrage campaign in the United States and other rights-based causes.
