In this film people from the movement's early days talk of their delight in finding someone who enjoyed exploring his Western heritage as well as being a Buddhist. A fresh chapter in Buddhist history was started when Sangharakshita, an Englishman who had lived for twenty years as a monk in India, returned to England and founded the Friends Of The Western Buddhist Order.
