Synopsis:
While the loss in terms of material used and destroyed during World War II cannot be gauged with any degree of accuracy, the statistics on manpower are pretty accurate. Of the over 16 million men who enlisted, many were killed in battles or succumbed to their wounds, while some were captured or reported missing. Many of these brave men joined the war as carefree youngsters, but soon became philosophical and battle hardened men. This set of DVDs pays homage to American soldiers and recounts their sacrifices on behalf of their country.
