Synopsis:
In Discworld, it is the night before Hogswatch and the hogfather (that jolly fat man who brings presents to the kiddies) is missing... But if the presents aren't delivered the sun will not rise tomorrow morning. So another supernatural entity, who also knows where everyone lives, has stepped in... Death. While his Ho, Ho, Ho could do with some work, his granddaughter, Susan has to find the real Hogfather. Will there be enough belief in the Hogfather to make the sun come up? It's a dark time of year... You'd better watch out...

True to Pratchett - Hogfather review by JD

Spoiler Alert
11/07/2015

The storyline is close to the book and loses none of the wonderful Pratchett humour. I and many I know love Pratchett's discworld novels, some are better than others, the good ones are the most fun you can have with paper. I'm sure Terry would have approved of this visual adaption. I think death is so good, to get so many gags out of it is amazing. I would single out Stephen Marcus who plays Banjo Cropper as a surprisingly good performance. Playing the strong idiot is rarely done well, this was done outstandingly. Great slapstick.
