Synopsis:
Hold That Ghost
Abbott and Costello play bumbling idiots who are fired from their jobs as waiters and start up a gas station, where they are accidentally trapped in the car of mobster Moose Matson (William Davidson) during a chase as he is pursued by Feds. Moose is shot, but just before he dies he gives them a paper that entitles them to a cut of his fortune. Along with several other fortune hunters, they head to a lonely mansion where Moose's loot is reputedly stashed, but are forced to put up with both ghosts and other mobsters searching for the stash in the process.

In The Navy
Hoist the signal, splice the main brace, anchors aweigh....and prepare to sink without trace! Yes, Abbott and Costello have answered their country's call and now sailing the seven seas - or as near to seven as they can! Written by John Grant and Arthur T. Horman, this comic movie and rallying cry from 1941 brings the boys into close engagement with those musical maritime maids, The Andrews Sisters. Abbott and Costello do their best to maintain the highest standards of incompetence - something they do with consummate ease! Fans of musical extravaganzas from this period will love the stylish routines of those singing Sisters - with music and lyrics from the team of Gene De Paul and Don Raye. For life on the ocean wave with Bud and Lou, you better bring a sou'wester!
