Rent Home to Roost (1985 - 1990)

Home to Roost is a British comedy series about what happens when your idyllic quiet life is interrupted by someone you cannot rightfully get rid of. The series follows Henry (John Thaw), a forty something man who lives alone after divorcing from his wife. However when his son is thrown out by his ex wife he comes to live with Henry and over the course of his time there he causes no end of problems and disturbances that Henry must deal with. The prospect of having time to himself in the quiet of his own home now seems an impossible goal.
