Brilliantly Daft (but overlong) - Hundreds of Beavers review by PT
As most of the critics have noted this is a combination of Tex Avery cartoons and silent era slapstick. If you are indifferent to either genre then you should avoid. If you enjoy the trailer however it is certainly worth 90 minutes of your time, sadly it lasts for 106 and a potentially 5* comedy has been buried in a 3* one. Director Mike Cheslik has been fantastically inventive but did not learn from the example of silent era running times.
It would only take some judicious editing so can we have a Non-Directors Cut please?
