Rent I Could Go on Singing (1963)

Jenny Bowman (Judy Garland), strong-headed, absent mother turns up in the lives of her ex-lover David (Dirk Bogarde) and their son, rocking the boat in these otherwise still waters. Who can resist a showbiz mum who turns up at boarding school and charms everyone she meets; who sings her way into the heart of a nation.
