Synopsis:
Cesar award-winner Agnes Jaoui gives an intelligent and affecting performance as Aurore; fifty, flirty and not-so-thriving, her world is turned upside down when a past flame returns, reigniting her lust for life and love. A witty and wonderful ode to embracing age whilst staying young, 'I Got Life!' is a timely and uplifting film celebrating womanhood.

A film about lost love regained - I Got Life! review by DR

I loved the movie - I could relate to so much of its content. I imagine, like myself, women will rate this film much more highly than men - it's very female-centred - which is an excellent thing in itself. Take no notice of the lower ratings - I've given it 5 out of 5 to encourage the female audience.

Women to the fore! - I Got Life! review by CB

Spoiler Alert
19/03/2021

At this time of pandemic, mental health, abuse at home, and a myriad of issues women have to face, the director let unfold the menopausal angst, the catalyst of the leads actions. Bringing together the strands of seperation, motherhood, facing decline, made a film worth 4+ stars. Enjoy it, enjoy the humanity.
