Rent In a Stranger's Hand (1991)

A little girl disappears, throwing her mother Laura into a nightmarish search. Jack Bauer, a workaholic businessman, accidentally gets involved in the case when he returns a doll found in the subway. For Jack, a selfish businessman, it is the start of a chain of events that will either change his life forever - or end it - as he and Laura are forced to leave behind their comfortable lives and become hunters in a frightening world of seedy street life, murder and child stealing.
