Rent In Loving Memory (1979 - 1986)

In Loving Memory is a British comedy series that followed a duo of undertakers in 1929 and the various funerals they must organise and the many mishaps they endure trying to respect the dead. The series follows recently widowed Ivy (Thora Hind) and her nephew Billy (Christopher Beeny) and their adventures in undertaking following the death of Ivy’s husband. Neither knows much about the job but they are determined to keep the business going despite the problems they may face along the way as they try to respect Ivy’s husband and the people that come through their door, living or dead.
