Rent In 'n' Out (1984)

Murray Lewis (Sam Bottoms) is a bass player from California who is down on his luck. He heads to Mexico to attend his long-lost father's funeral. There he meets up with Nieves Blanco (Rafael Inclan), an easy-going but crazy character who thinks he is Dean Martin. Both are musician misfits and hopeless dreamers, naturally they become friends. When they discover that Murray may inherit a substantial amount of money from his mysterious father, they take off with Nieves' smart and sexy sister Lupita (Rebecca Jones) on a comedic adventure that has them ping-ponging across the border. Along the way they encounter mysterious millionaires, rich ladies in fancy cars, and Laurel and Hardy bandidos!
