The Reverend Martin Luther King, Sr. (1899-1984) rose from poverty to become patriarch of one of the most famous and tragedy-plagued families in history. 'In the Hour of Chaos', written and directed by Bayer Mack, documents the life and turbulent times of (Daddy King), including his violent upbringing, the assassination of his oldest son, Martin Jr., the drowning of his younger son, Alfred Daniel, and the shooting death of his wife, Alberta. Set against a backdrop of sociopolitical intrigue and anarchy spanning three generations of the King family, the film also details major domestic conflicts that have impacted the American public and offers a provocative inside view of the Civil Rights Movement and it's leadership.
