Narrated by Liam Neeson, the film highlights Hume's pursuit of peace through his co-operation with senior politicians in the United States and his unwavering commitment to seeing an end to the violence which had raged in his homeland for years. The film features archive footage and interviews with political figures such as Bill Clinton, Jimmy Carter, Tony Blair and Bertie Ahern.
