They're the stuff of legend, nightmares, fascination, and myth. But in hidden jungles across the globe, spiders are something else. They're worshipped. They're controlled. They're waiting to be fed. When a team of friends descend into the far reaches of India's jungle for adventure and exploration they discover a verdant maze veiled in silken webs. Unaware of the peril's awaiting them, their pleasant dreams soon turn into nightmares when one of the team, Geraldine (Jane Perry) is bitten by a highly poisonous Bolivian Baja spider. Her only hope for survival is to place her trust in the enigmatic Dr. Lecorpus (Lance Henriksen) an ex-American patriot, living in the primitive village of Karni Mata. Once in the Doctor's care the team soon realise Dr. Lecorpus's ultimate plan for his victims is beyond anything any of them could have imagined - and it becomes a battle of man-against-man and man-against-nature. - Actors:
