First rewarded, then exploited and rejected for his brilliance, young genius scientist and inventor Paul Lionette (Christopher Masterson) quickly learns after a brutal betrayal that the only person he can trust is himself. Soon his revolutionary ideas appear in journals and magazines credited to other inventors. Convinced that the Russians, several major corporations, and his own government are spying on him, he struggles to protect his greatest invention: The Cube. Hiding from the world in a cloak of anonymity, he finds comfort in the arms of a vivacious local waitress. But when a terrible accident thrusts him into the spotlight, his reality is threatened and his world becomes twisted beyond recognition. Now locked in a bitter struggle for survival, Paul will be forced to make dangerous decisions that will affect everything we know to be true.
