- Rachel Taylor is beautiful, wealthy, married... and bored. Her husband Tom is on the fast track. His recent promotion to junior law partner leaves Rachel neglected. Luncheons and tennis lessons don't help. Until Rick Simms enters her life, bringing excitement, love and danger. Rachel tries to resist Rick. Her friends warn her to be discreet, but she's blind by passion and driven by desire. Together Rick and Rachel find themselves drawn into a web of sex and betrayal from which there is no escape.
