Intimate Stranger (1991)

Made-for-TV thriller starring Blondie's Debbie Harry (billed here as Deborah Harry) as Cory Wheeler, a struggling and jaded bar singer who works after midnight (which is the alternate title for the film), as a phone sex operator. When a sadistic serial killer phone's her up and makes her listen to him killing a prostitute, Cory goes to the police but when they don't believe her, she storms out only for a sympathetic cop (James Russo) who's eager for promotion, to offer his help. Besides co-stars Tim Thomerson and Grace Zabriskie, the one other notable member of the cast is in an early supporting role, sultry Tia Carrere (who incidentally appears in her only nude scene in this film).
