Beginning in the 1950s, through the go-go space exploration years of the Mercury, Gemini and Apollo missions, this dramatic series concludes by looking at where we are currently in our ongoing conquest of space with dramatic scenes from the Space Shuttle and the International Space Station (the ISS). Follow the multinational crews of these celestial ships as they study the fragile atmosphere and environments of our planet Earth, and prove how humans one day will be able to live and work in space, unlimited in the goal of mankind's Grand Adventure of going faster and further into the void.
