- Synopsis:
- Based upon William Faulkner's oustanding novel about racial prejudice. A black man in a small Southern town is accused of mudering a white adversary. The nephew of a local lawyer, himself having overcome his own bigotory, pesuedes persudes his uncle to help him find the real killer. Terrific tension held together by great acting and a tight script.
