Isoken (2017)

Dakore Akande stars in this Nigerian romantic drama written and directed by Jadesola Osiberu. The film follows Isoken (Akande), a 34-year-old Nigerian woman looking to finally settle down after years of being single. With both of her younger sisters getting married, Isoken's family put her under increasing pressure to start looking for a potential husband, and when her mother sets her up with the handsome and successful Osaze (Joseph Benjamin), things seem to be looking up. However, Isoken is left torn after meeting and falling for Englishman Kevin (Marc Rhys) and soon finds herself facing some big decisions about her future.
