- Synopsis:
- Jam and Jerusalem is a British comedy series about the lives of a group of women who are all part of the same womens institute in a small town. The series follows Sal (Sue Johnston), a small town practice nurse who finds herself isolated from the rest of the town when her husband dies. However when she decides to join the local womens institute she finds herself welcomed by many of the women as they help her through her difficult times while also handling their own delicate problems and relationships.
