Triple bill of documentaries following British adventurer and Olympic gold medal rower James Cracknell as he takes on various cycling challenges around the globe. In 'Toughest Race On Earth' he competes in the Marathon des Sables in Morocco. Known for being the ultimate test of human endurance, the race - which takes in a gruelling 250 km across the Sahara desert in temperatures reaching up to 50 degrees Celsius - tests even the toughest athletes to their limit and beyond. In 'Coldest Race On Earth' he cycles in the challenging 430-mile Yukon Arctic Ultra race in minus 50 degrees. In 'Race Across America' he journeys across the United States, attempting to run, row, cycle and swim from Los Angeles to New York in 16 days, travelling through places such as Death Valley, Route 66 and Lake Erie. The feat ended with Cracknell fighting for his life after being hit by a truck.
