- Synopsis:
"Jeevan Ek Sanghursh" is the story of Sulakshana Devi (Rakhee Gulzar), to whom principles are the biggest thing in her life. She is a widow with two sons and a daughter and lives in a chawI. The landlord of the chawl behaves badly with her and robs her of money. Her younger son Karan (Anil Kapoor) goes to settle things with landlord but is sent to the children's remand home. Sulakshana Devi comes away to the city with her one son and one daughter, Karan runs away from the remand home and reaches the city. Karan begins to work in a garage with his friend Vinod (Abhinav Chaturvedi). Karan who once chases a jeep and catches the driver who is carrying a lot of drug with him. Then enters Devraj Kamat (Anupam Kher) who is a doctor but actually a big name in the underworld, Devraj Kamat informs his rival rattan Dholakia (Pankaj Dheer) about Karan saying that he was who hit his driver and because of him his drugs were caught. Finally Karan tells Sulakshana Devi he his her long lost son but she does not accept him saying that he is a criminal and she has only one son. Karan saves his sister from getting married to Mahesh Dholakia. Karan's brother is a customs officer. Karan somehow manages to eliminate them and the mother accepts him as her son. - Actors:
