- In 1999, network television producer Alexandra Pelosi, daughter of California Democratic congresswoman Nancy Pelosi, was asked to cover the Bush campaign for NBC. 'Journeys with George', a video diary of the 18 months she spent with then presidential candidate George W. Bush and the press corps, is an up-close and candid look at the man who would become the 43rd President of the United States and a behind-the-scenes perspective of how campaign traditions prevail amidst a media savvy culture.
