A name that needs no introduction. The Spanish singer has been performing for over thirty years, appearing at around 5000 concerts and has sold an estimated five million albums. Rising to prominence during the 1970's and 80's, he is best known for his romantic ballads and for transcending musical and linguistic barriers. In 1970 Iglesias reached fourth place at the Eurovision Song Contest representing Spain with his single Gwendolyne. He is known to sing in many different languages including English, French, Portuguese, German and Italian, and has sung duets with Willie Nelson, Diana Ross and Stevie Wonder. He continues to tour all over the world; the latest in South Africa and Europe several months ago. This concert was recorded in a stunning open air amphitheatre in Jerusalem, Israel during 1981.
