- When laddish wide-boy Vince Pinner realised his feet were decidedly chilly hopped on his motorbike and left the prim Penny Warrender waiting at the altar, she eventually pulled herself together and got on with her life. But, a chance meeting five years later rekindled feelings she thought had gone forever – to her horror. Insisting on remaining ‘just good friends’, the old feelings quickly resurfaced and a classic love-hate, on-off relationship was (once again) established.
