Gary Starke (Andy Garcia) is a ticket tout extraordinaire who has stayed afloat over the years through a combination of talent, wits and an honour-among thieves philosophy. For Gary, the future is always just another scheme away. But his world is about to be turned upside down when his long term girlfriend, Linda (Andie MacDowell), tired of his broken promises and irresponsibility, dumps him and decides to pursue her dream to become a world class chef in Paris. To top it all off, there is the sudden appearance of Casino, a ruthless rival, who threatens to invade Gary's patch and become the city's new 'ticket master' With his livelihood and the girl he loves at risk, Gary has one last chance to redeem himself.
