Ritesh (Jackie Shroff), a film star living in past glories. Shunned by film directors and hounded by creditors, he takes to heavy drinking. Pooja (Dimple Kapadia), his wife, starts working to support the family. Ritesh's male ego can't tolerate this and because of this arguments start between them to which their child, Romi becomes a silent spectator. Alok (Anupam) once saved Pooja from a lecherous man, offers her a job in his own firm. Ritesh gives an ultimatum to Pooja, either leave the job or leave the house. Pooja decides to leave. Alok initially offers moral support to Pooja and later on marriage. Pooja goes to court for the custody of Romi and loses. Having won the custody of Romi, Ritesh discovers that Romi is going to die of cancer. Dying Romi asks his father to fulfill three wishes of his. One of the wishes requires Ritesh, Pooja and Romi to go to a hill station, which they had visited in their happy days. Alok meets violently to the situation. Again thrown together under the shadow of death, Pooja and Ritesh rediscover themselves and each other.
