- Synopsis:
- As America edged slowly towards civil war the need for a train line through the heart of the country became imperative in order to provide troops and supplies, however not everyone was in favour of the new lifeline. Sterling Hayden stars as undercover army engineer Captain John Nelson sent to deal with Southern-sympathisers who are sabotaging the construction of the railway, causing death and delay. Tasked with getting the project back on track, Captain Nelson must deal with those intent on derailing the new supply route by any means and at any cost.
