Karajan: The Second Life (2013)

Documentary that explores the musical vision of the legendary conductor Herbert Von Karajan. Born in Salzburg in 1908,Von Karajan carved out a successful music career,primarily with the Berlin Philharmonic,and is considered by many to be one of the greatest conductors of all time. The documentary includes contributions from contemporaries of Von Karajan including Anne-Sophie Mutter,Peter Alward,Hans Hirsch and Eberhard Finke,who offer an insight into the vision and working methods of the musician.
