- Synopsis:
French-American drama in which a young waitress succumbs to prostitution when her impoverished life in a Southwest American town threatens to derail her plans of moving to San Francisco. With her mother unable to work and the possibility of eviction looming above their heads, it is up to 17-year-old Katie (Olivia Cooke) to bring in the money required to allow them to keep their home. To make enough cash to survive and fulfil her dreams of fleeing the small town, she must resort to more dangerous means as she begins to offer sexual services to older men. Katie is soon left questioning everything, however, when she falls for mechanic Bruno (Christopher Abbott), who disapproves of her secret life. - Actors:
