Acclaimed British Chef Keith Floyd was a great favourite on British TV during the 80's and 90's and is often considered the first personality chef to make his name on television. His ebullience and zest for life gave him a large following. Keith recorded a series of programmes travelling the world and exploring the local cultures and tastes. In this programme he visits Italy with a mission to discover the varied tastes and the rich regional diversity of Italian cuisine. The eccentric chef abandons all accepted conventions as he forays into the best restaurants and the most luscious vineyards. Amidst the classic scenery, Floyd prepares exquisite dishes, including squid ink tagliatelle and Tuscan wild boar.
