Parenting is a two-way street for Doug Block and his college-bound daughter, Lucy, in this affectionate documentary that toes the tricky balance between letting go of a child and keeping a candid account of the memories. Block combines childhood footage with tapes of present-day conversations between probing father, anxious mother and patient daughter, who responds to her parents' habitual inquiries about her life with infinite understanding.
