Part documentary, part concert, this film is an intimate glimpse of Kíla at their best in concert, at their most relaxed backstage and at their funniest on the road. It is filmed, directed and produced by Buenos Aires based Irish film director Anthony White. Kíla are long since one of Ireland's most exciting, innovative and creative bands. They straddle many musical worlds traditional, world, folk, fusion, Celtic among the many caps they can wear, but it is their punk energy that sets them apart, their relentless drive for expression through music and their consistency. Filmed on the road in Toulouse, Tinahely, Tallaght, Cambridge and many other locations across Ireland it paints a portrait of a happy band, relaxed backstage, enjoying each other's company, delighting in each other's creativity. 'Pota Óir' means pot of gold and there's no doubt that this film is brimful of golden nuggets.
