It's two years later the trial is over and the James' boys have an appointment with the electric chair. Refusing to give the media and the public the woeful explanations they expect, the brothers, with their unsavoury humour and complete of lack remorse become the kind of media heroes that only America in the late 1990's could embrace. Their bloody escape from prison leads to a massive manhunt, with an intrigued public glued to their televisions, thrilled but afraid. The killers hole up in a typical suburban town taking the Ryan family hostage. But, it's the James brothers who are in for a nasty surprise, it appears that the Ryans have a few of their own axes to grind.
