Kinatay (2009)

In this thriller from Filipino director Brillante Mendoza, somebody who should know better that is, a recent criminology graduate - resorts to unscrupulous means to raise the money he needs to marry his girlfriend. Things go horribly awry, however, when the "little job" he agreed to turns out to require big carnage. Soon, the former criminology student is pursuing a life of crime in this film starring Coco Martin and Mercedes Cabral.
