- Synopsis:
- King and Castle is an ITV drama series written by the Sweeney creator Ian Kennedy Martin. Starring Derek Martin as a former police detective Ronald King, who hastily left the force to avoid his dubious past catching up with him, King and Castle follows the ex-cop as he attempts to set up his own debt collection agency. King finds an unlikely business partner in the form of David Castle (Nigel Planer), a young and naïve part-time genealogist. Despite frequent clashes, the pair successfully fight off their rivals, whilst almost always remaining on the right side of the law.
